I met Chelsea and her partner when I was asked to cover wee Keeley-Jays Christening towards the beginning on 2010! Lovely couple, and Keeley-Jay was such a star on her big day! So I was equaling chuffed to be called back to take a few snaps of both Keeley-Jay & her new little sister, Macey! They were so so cute, and even thought Keeley-Jay was a wee mischief (lol)...we still got some lovely shots of them both. ♥

Blazefest Charity Concert - Spring & Airbrake - January 7th 2011!

Hey up all you rock/metal heads out there!

There's going to be an amazing Metal Charity Concert being held at Spring & Airbrake on 7th January 2011! The tickets are only £10 and can be purchased as ticketmaster.ie so get them booked!! All proceeds although raised by the Blazes Appeal Charity will be going to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

The charity concert is being put together in honour of little Blaze, a fabulous 2yr old boy who has suffered from a severe bilateral hydronephrosis since before he was born, and continues to battle it head on day to day.

There is going to be some amazing bands playing on the night, bands such as...Sweet Savage, Sinocence, Devilmakesthree, Nine Lies, ForChristSake, & ReVengance - it's going to be some night!! I had a wedding the other week up in the adorable town of Carrickfergus. The weather looked a bit confused, but I had hope it would behave, well...until the location shots where done at least!!!

Leona & Walter where so relaxed, and the service was a delight. Smiles & tears where both shed...even a giggle or too as the Groom got his words muddled, lol. Was a lovely ceremony and there little one was a sweetheart! From chewing the order of service to out crawling her Grandparents!! Wee mite, lol. All round was a lovely day, and the weather behaved enough for us to get in some shots over at the Castle!!

Belfast City Shoot with Gillian Walker.

Today I got to work alongside the talented Martin Bartniki once again, and also the fabulous make-up artist, Nuala Campbell. Gillian met up at Nualas home to get her all sparkled up for this afternoons shoot, and not only did Nuala do an ace job, but Gillian looked radiant!

We all met up in the Custom House Square of Belfast and both Martin & I got to work! Gillian was brilliant to work with, she changed her pose with every click of our cameras! She was a total pleasure to work with.

We all had a great laugh during this shoot, so I've added in a few comical photos from the shoot also! Even though I take every one of my shoots seriously...it's good to have a giggle & a bit of fun at the same time!

Teenagers with Cancer Charity Night - October 3rd 2010!

Not doing anything the night of Sunday October 3rd? Then fabulous! Get those boots on & come on down to McCrackens (formally O'Neills) in Belfast for a great night of talanted singer/songwriters performing to raise money for the awesome charity that is....Teenagers with Cancer Trust.

The doors open at 2030hrs, the door entry fee is £3 (bargain!!) and a great night is guarantee'd!! The talented Stuart Lunn will be performing along with the awesome Stillpoint as they collectively work together (with your help!) to raise money for this very worth while cause.

I will be the photographer at this event, so I look forward to seeing you all there!!! :o)

Jeremy & Tatianas Wedding Day - September 21st 2010

I met this lovely couple about 3wks before their big day, and from the get-go I knew they were made for eachother. Jeremy was from here (N.I) & his lovely Bride-to-be was all the way from Russia. Her english was fab and her accent was beautiful. I was very excited to be photographing their big day.

After a beautiful ceremony & a few yummy shots outside the grounds of City Hall, it was time to pop into the gorgeous vintage limo car & off to Botanic Gardens for some location shots! Then back to the Ramada hotel to get started on the party time!!!

The setting was Emmas bedroom, which is a fabulous shocking pink! (she even has a walk-in wardrobe! How flash! lol)...

Usually each year I would participate in a race for life event, or something else to do with helping to carry out further research into a cure for cancer. And sadly this year I've been so busy with work, that up until now I've done nothing....

However, whilst searching through google for any cancer charity related events coming up, I came across an abseilling event from the top of Carrickfergus Castles keep...and I thought, what the hell! So I signed up!

I could really do with your support, every penny counts, so it doesnt matter the size of your donation, whether its big or small....every single penny is gratefully needed to find a cure for cancer.

Today was the day that Jill & Bobby where to become Man & wife...

The Bride arrived under an umbrella, due to the sunshine deciding it had been out for long enough! Typical Northern Ireland weather!! But it didnt dampen the spirits of the day...Jill looked stunning in her gown, and Bobby was a proud man waiting patiently at the alter & their beautiful daughter Orla waiting patiently in her seat with her own little camera.

The after party took place at Cairndu Golf Club, Larne...the wetaher cleared up & I was even able to commandeer a golf buggy for some fun shots!!

Lighthouse Photoshoot with Naomi Storey

I was approached by another photographer, Martin Bartnicki (http://www.martinbartnicki.com/) and he asked me if I was free for a photoshoot! And we had 48hrs to organise it! I got us a make-up artist pretty quickly, the talented Nuala Campbell (http://www.facebook.com/#!/nuala.campbell?ref=ts) Martin had his lighting assistant sorted, now all we needed was the model. Finally Nuala sorted us out with the lovely Naomi Storey. So we were ready to rumble!

Due to Whitehead not having a beach (my bad, lol) Martin suggested we head upto the Lighthouse on the cliff. When we finally found it, the could shooting commence! So from...flies...EVERYWHERE, to a model on heels on a cliff top, to the gorgeous landscape....have a wee gander at the results! ;o)

On Saturday 7th August, I was a busy girl! I went from one surprise 30th birthday to a jammed packed in full swing 21st birthday party, at the Lagan Village Rangers Club in Belfast. I met Carla at a Hen Party last year, and again at that very same Hens Wedding Reception - I was very pleased that she wanted to me capture her special arrival in 21!

The night was filled with back flips, fab tunes, hip hop dancers, an excellent irish dancer and constant laughs and just having a blast!

Gerards Surprise 30th - Birthday - August 2010

I was contacted by a friend of a friend on facebook (isn't facebook fab!) and she asked me to cover her brothers surprise 30th at the Cliftonville Bowling Club in Belfast - I of course was happy to!! Once I got there the bowling green was untouched, and I could hear kids laughing off somewhere around the club.

I walked into the club to find alot of loved ones ready to celebrate Gerards 30th with him. And he was soon to arrive...check out a few snaps from Gerards big night.

This was my first model based shoot since Vampires and Puppets and dolls...needless to say I was excited! Joannes never modelled a day in her life, but by her photos...you'd think she had!

Edina & Richard - Engagement - 19th July 2010

Today I ventured over to Bangor, and I was to meet a lovely girl named Edina and her lovely fiancee Richard. Edina and Richard chose Bangor as the spot for their engagement shoot because it was the very place that Richard got down on one knee to ask Edina a very important question....and of course she said yes! The rain was really persistant before our shoot took place, but Edina had so much faith, that no joke...20 minutes later...the sun was out, shining and boiling us all half to death! lol.

They were such a wonderful couple to photograph! We even walked round to the very spot Richard proposed, have a wee nosy at their snaps... :o)

Rebeccas 18th birthday party had finally arrived. The fantastic venue was held at the Clarion Hotel in Carrickfergus. The dance floor was always being tapped on by dancing feet, and I've got the photos to prove it! Fair play to all of our dancers, and a even bigger shout out to those brave enough to get up for the Stars in their Eyes part of the evening!!

Wedding Photographer Belfast - Mourne Mountain Trek for Children with Cancer.

Last year I cycled 60 miles from Old Trafford, Manchester to South Promenade, Blackpool for Action Cancer. This year, I'm taking part in a 5.5 mile trek up Northern Irelands highest peak, Slieve Donard. The charity organising this event is CLIC Sargent, for children with cancer.

The event is on October 9th and I could use your support to raise as much as we can for the little people battling this dreadful disease.

Armed Forces Day - June 26th 2010

Today was a proud day for me. My Father was marching in along with his boyos in the RIR (Royal Irish Rangers). There was only a few of them there today due to so many of them still being out in Afghanistan.

My Dad was bumping into men he hadn't seen since the 70's, and there was no doubt that he was well & truly deep within his element. Was beautiful to witness. I took a few snaps of the events the armed forces had on display, and of the boys marching proudly in memory of a fallen comrade, and for the rest of the fallen.

To photograph the beautiful wedding of Jay & Lianne I had to hop on a plane to Lancashire....and what weather I flew over too! The sun could not of shone brighter!!

What treats I flew over too also....I got to fly Shamrock, the European Eagle Chick (visualise Mumble from Happy Feet!!) and I got to have the most awesome car ride in a vet ambulance in emergency mode, flashing green night, traffic rushing out of our way! Was like something out of a movie!!

But then came the most important part....Jay and Li were about to wed!! Awesome turn out, the Groom was waiting, and the Bride was on her way....

When Aisling & Ciaran got intouch with me originally and she mentioned "Wedding" I was thinking along the lines of later on this year or early 2011...but no....the big day was in 3wks time!! Sadly their plans to wed in Rome where dashed due to the volcano craziness that brought UK and alot of Europe to a standstill not so long ago. And she was relieved to hear that I was available on the date she wanted. I personally was very honoured to be asked to be their photographer.

Aisling & her bridesmaids got ready in her home, make-up station was all set up, champayne was poured, flowers had been delivered....all was running accordingly. However regardless of the Bride getting ready from 7am that morning she still managed to be a few minutes late for her own Wedding!!

After the beautiful ceremony at the Chapel, we set off to the grounds of the Botanical Gardens in Belfast, and took some gorgeous photos under the great cherry blossom tree. Then it was onto the Wellington Park Hotel, where everyone was glad to get a cold pint down them, and indulge in the chocolate fountains yummy treats!!

Big thank you to Aisling & Ciaran to choosing me to capture your special day, was a beautiful wedding, and I couldnt be happier for the both of you.

I have displayed alot of my work on here, but never any of my Wedding albums. I recently changed Wedding Album suppliers, and I must say, I'm super pleased with the results - so I'm going to share!

The album spreads below are from the Wedding day of Angela and Tony at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Chapel and Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast.

Angela and Tony were a lovely couple, with the sweetest little boy who wanted nothing more than to putter about on his wee ride-a-long truck. It was an absolute pleasure to be their Wedding Photographer. Sadly no on location shots where taken due to the heavy snow, but alot of lovely informal shots where taken indoors. Their reception room actually took my breathe away. Twinkling lights behind the top table, and also surrounding their beautifully contrasted black & white wedding cake.

The album below is a 10x10 Artemis with 15 pages, (thats 30 sides!) The images are self adhered into the pages of this album. The images are of super high quality, as is the album. It has a magnetic clasp on the front, as well as the name of the Bride and Groom embossed on the front, to give it that extra personal touch.

I've displayed the first 4 pages.

Tara, Cherishing her Dress

My first shot at a cherish the dress shoot had arrived. After our appointment with the make-up artist (Emma Gilles) at the Craft Work-Shop in Belfast (One of Northern Ireland hidden treasures), off we went to our location. But not without a stroll from make up to car, via the high street! The looks Tara got was amusing, lots of people looking and wondering why she was in her dress in the middle of Belfast City, lol.

Even watching her get into her car in her froo froo wedding gown was nothing short of amusing, and a photo HAD to be taken! ;-)

I wasnt Taras Wedding Photographer, but least we got her back into her dress!!

My 1st Model based shoot....so exciting!

I was in Blackpool for the week and I was organising two shoots for moooonths! So I was chuffed (and also nervous) that the date had finally arrived. I teamed up with a photographer friend of mine, Tony Gee - he specialises in Model & Glamour/Fetish based photography. It was a pleasure to finally meet him after countless emails back and forth trying to organise these shoots.

My ideas for the shoots where Vampire & Puppets and Dolls. I obviously had an MUA let me down and a model, but we bounced back because the people we did have turn up made the day, and covered both shoots due to the no-shows. I learnt that in the modelling business that this happens alot.

Baby Aoife has arrived!

My cousin's friend Laura came to me for a baby photoshoot. Her and her partner Stephen already have a little boy, called Blake and he's mental about football (A wee Man u supporter haha!) and was so keen to not only tell me about his footy knowledge but to show me his light saber skills!

I met Arleen through my friend Lindsey, and her and her partner John are going to be the parents of a bouncing baby girl in just a few weeks time! So Arleen thought she'd jump at the chance to have a pregnancy shoot with myself. Arleens bump was flawless I cannot tell you, she did nothing but glow, and you see that from the results...

Rememberance Day - Nov 2007

I thought I would share these photos, sadly I've not had the chance to do another rememberance day since, but fingers crossed for this year. The first photo below is so dear to me words cannot even explain. It's of my Father, remembering the fallen....not 3mths after having life threatening surgery to save his life from a brain tumour. And there he stands remembering fallen comrades. This man is my life, my hero I'm so SO proud to be his daughter. I love you Daddy.

I captured their engagement, then their Wedding...and now - there pregnancy with their first born! How special is my job huh! So excited for them both, and Christine looked STUNNING during her 36wk pregnancy photoshoot.

My good friends Lindsay and David where kind enough to give me an hour of their time to help me try out some shots for portraits (on location). The weather wasn't the best (it is Northern Ireland after all!) but nonetheless we headed upto the stunning location that is Belfast Castle.

Holiday time! Yaaay!

My little girl Ellie and I had the chance to fly over to Orihuelia, La Campenata in Spain to see my Mum & Stepfather, sadly my husband was unable to get off work - so Ellie and I jetted off into the sunshine for a week.

Blimey it wasn't half hot, but the scenery was breathtaking. Knowing my Mother, and her not doing anything in halves she and her husband bought a beautiful rustic spanish home in the depths of the spanish countryside. Of course I took the chance to take a few snaps for you....so have a wee gander! ;-)

Christine & Gerard are getting wed!

Beautiful wedding, gorgeous setting and a lushious couple. Christine & Gerard where finally going to get married. It was all so exciting because this was one of the first proper wedding I got to shoot - so this was my big chance!

Christine & Gerard had total faith in me (no pressure) and I was let loose to do my thing. And guess what?...I was as nervous as hell and back, but adored capturing every little detail for them. Christine was shaking like a leaf when she arrived next to her soon-to-be husband, and tears soon followed. But their vows where made and smiles and laughter filled the rest of their day.

Christine and Gerard are such a uniquly beautiful couple it was my pleasure to do an engagement shoot for them. I took them to the beautiful gardens at Botanic in Belfast, and contrary to our natural weather habits, we got a dry (warmish) day for their photos, much to my disbelief!
